From April 25th to 27th, 2025, Dan Marine Far East Company and Dan Marine Group departments embarked on a poetic journey that wove together nature and culture in the hidden landscapes of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. Amidst the spectacular peaks and waterfalls of Yandang Mountain and the ancient villages and idyllic fields along Nanxi River, they experienced a symphony of nature and humanity.

 (1) Yandang Mountain · Dalongqiu and the Enchanting Night of Lingfeng: A Symphony of Nature

Dalongqiu: A Thunderous Canvas of Heaven and Earth

As the top of the 'Four Great Waterfalls of China', Dalongqiu plunges 190 meters from a volcanic rock cliff, with a roar like a thousand troops beating drums. Water mist refracts into a rainbow under the sunlight. Standing at the viewing pavilion, water droplets are blown onto the face by the wind, and a refreshing coolness penetrates the lungs. Team members hold their breath and gaze, watching the silver ribbon strike the deep pool, raising layer upon layer of white waves, as if witnessing an eternal solo dance between heaven and earth. The tour guide explains from a geological perspective: 'This waterfall was formed by volcanic eruptions billions of years ago. The water flow cut through the rock layers, eventually creating today's wonder.'

Lingfeng Night View: A Moonlit Fantasy Theater

When dusk falls, the strange peaks and rocks of Lingfeng shed their daytime sharpness and transform into hazy silhouettes. Moonlight, like gossamer, outlines the 'Couple Peaks' as embracing lovers and the 'Eagle Peak' as a giant bird about to take flight. The team walks slowly with flashlights, the beams sweeping across the rock walls, and the shadows of the rocks shift with the light, as if performing a silent shadow play. The tour guide softly recites a folk song: 'Daytime shows the form, nighttime reveals the soul.' Everyone stands quietly in the valley, listening to the whispers of the mountain wind through the pine forest, feeling the mysterious texture of nature unfolding in the night.

Shiwei Rock: A Timeless Dialogue of the Sky-Scraping Mast

The 306-meter-high red rock stands like a magic needle by the stream, its solitary stance surrounded by water on three sides making the peaks on the opposite bank pale in comparison. Along the riverside walkway, one can see the Song Dynasty cliff carvings on the rock face, the four characters 'Tian Kai Tu Hua' still vigorous as ever. From the top of the rock, the Nanxi River turns into a meandering green ribbon, and the smoke from distant villages rises gently, just like an unfinished ink painting.

   Lion Rock Rafting: An Immersive Poetic Banquet of Green Mountains and Clear Waters

Sailing on the Nanxi River, the bamboo raft pushes through the emerald waters. The banks are lined with lush forests, and white egrets skim the surface, their wingtips touching the ripples. The boatman sings the Yongjia folk songs with his bamboo pole, the melodious tune resonating with the sound of flowing water. Team members sit quietly on the raft, watching the green mountains in the reflection break into thousands of golden scales with the waves, momentarily unable to tell whether it is the mountains reflecting in the water or the water containing the mountains.

Lishui Ancient Street: A Time-Honored Corridor of Ming and Qing Trade

On the 400-meter-long cobblestone road, Ming and Qing-era houses stand in rows, their wooden door lintels engraved with faded plaques such as 'Salt Wharf' and 'Cloth Shop'. Entering the intangible cultural heritage workshop, the warm glutinous rice is shaped in the palm, gradually forming a miniature model of Yandang Mountain - its strange peaks, waterfalls, and ancient temples, all details vividly depicted. The master smiles and says, 'Rice modeling is the 'three-dimensional history book' of Wenzhou. Every pinch and shape holds the memory of the land and rivers.'

(3) Lingyan and Fangdong · Exploring the Perilous Peaks: The Philosophical Scroll of the Earth

Lingyan Scenic Area: A Natural Epic on the Cliffs

The Tianzhu Peak pierces the clouds like a sharp sword, and the Zhanqi Peak flutters like a battle flag. Lingyan interprets the grandeur of 'Yandang Mountain is the best in the world' with 91 wonders. When you walk on the glass skywalk, you can look down at the canyon that is over a hundred meters deep, with clouds and mist surging beneath your feet like the sea. Suddenly, the sound of gongs echoes through the valley, and you see a herbalist swinging on a rope across the cliff, his figure darting among the crevices like a swallow. This 'Lingyan Flying' that has been passed down for six hundred years is still a breathtaking poem of dialogue between man and nature.

Fangdong: A Secret Realm of Ink and Water in the Mist

The cliff walkway winds like a dragon, and when you visit on a rainy day, the mist and water vapor from the mountains seep into the cave. Stalactites hang from the ceiling, and the dripping water hitting the rocks creates a melodious sound, like a guqin playing 'High Mountains and Flowing Water'. Team members lean on the railing and gaze into the distance, seeing the terraced fields in the mist appear and disappear, as if they were in a 'Smoke and Mountain Ridges' painting by the Song Dynasty artist Mi Fu.

(4) Significance of Team Building: Mountain and Sea in Unison, Dan Marine Renewed

Over three days, Dan Marine, using nature as a mirror, forged a unique spirit among its members in the perilous peaks of Yandang and the inclusive waters of Nanxi:

The boldness of Dalongqiu: Like a giant ship cutting through waves, it teaches the team to face the challenges of the shipping industry head-on, with the decisiveness of a waterfall to set the course.

The tenacity of Lingyan: Like a lighthouse at sea, it inspires us to stay on course amid market obstacles, with the courage to navigate through the most difficult situations.

The flexibility of Nanxi River: Like the ebb and flow of the tide, it nurtures the team's ability to balance firmness and flexibility in cross-departmental collaboration, resolving conflicts with the wisdom of water carrying a boat.

Silent understanding on bamboo rafts: Just as a well-coordinated fleet on the high seas, the team members understand each other's rhythms without the need for explicit instructions.

Support on the cliffside walkway: Like mutual support in crisis management, it demonstrates that 'one person cannot make a boat, but many oars can break through the waves.'

The sudden clarity in the rain at Fangdong: In the misty rain, it enlightens the team to maintain strategic focus in a complex market environment and to see opportunities in chaos.

With mountains as the backbone and the sea as the lifeblood, the journey of Dan Marine people knows no end.
